Accessible Online Counselling

Accessible Online Counselling is here for you as an individual, or as part of a relationship or marriage that you feel needs help.

I have a wide experience of many counselling issues such as individual anxiety, building self-esteem and relationships . I also have a special interest in counselling for the disabled,  as I am a disabled counsellor with first-hand knowledge of the specific, traumatic issues involved with a disability, being a carer and the necessary changes in roles/identities that a disability brings for all involved.

Accessible Online Counselling allows you to access the benefits of conventional counselling in a convenient, familiar or comforting setting though technology that is also secure, confidential and effective.  As a previously able bodied counsellor who is now wheelchair bound and largely house bound I believe I can provide an accessible and comprehensive counselling service to you.

Accessible Online Counselling is a chance to communicate your perspective and feelings to someone who is supportive, understanding and non judgmental of you whilst you assess your behaviour and reactions in relation to yourself and others.

Accessible Online Counselling can be an opportunity to analyse what is going on for you in your life without judgement and to help you to examine issues, either currently or in the past, and potentially make changes that reflect what is important to you going forward.

As a Relate trained counsellor and relationship specialist, based in Basingstoke, I have hundreds of hours of counselling experience with all kinds of issues, but specifically the areas around disability, ill health, carer issues and traumatic change of future. I understand the need to be non-judgemental, empathic, straight forward and curious towards the client. In 2018 I became wheelchair-bound and was keen that counselling should be available to all, without the need to attend a special counselling room, especially with COVID-19 restrictions and so created Accessible Online Counselling.
